It turned out that this day is particularly celebrated only in Poland. It's the last Thursday before Lent and is associated with celebration of Carnival. During this day people are feasting, eating doughnuts and so on. Here are as many as eight Poles, so we wanted to introduce some our traditions. Paradoxically, me as a person who doesn't eat chocolate and didn't care about this day ever before, decided to make a dinner! Actually, why not? Isabella and I have spent the afternoon in kitchen and it was a great fun. (;
Pancakes with fruits
Agata prepared faworki and I think people really loved them ;)
In full force :)
As Tereza said - we look like on da Vinci's "Last Supper" painting.
Maybe there aren't that many opportunities to spend time together, but as Irene said:
"if nothing happens, you should make it happen". ;)
